Keitu provides personal service for clients confronted with environmental challenges such as solid and hazardous waste management, air emissions, and natural resources management. If environmental problems persist in your daily decisions, we provide affordable and realistic solutions.

Keitu provides specialized services to assist with environmental decisions. We operate from a client-focused perspective in cost-competitive situations with a personal commitment to quality. Our degreed professionals in engineering, environmental science and natural resource management have assisted real estate investment trusts, state and Federal agencies, school systems, and private industry in preparation on budgets for upcoming environmental remediation projects, programs that include underground storage tanks, asbestos & lead issues, indoor air quality, and hazardous waste cleanup.  Our services include but are not limited to:

Wetlands Delineation and Mitigation Plans - Consistant with US Corps of Engineers standards, our trained, experienced staff assess sites and identify boundaries.  When residental, commercial or industrial development is required, we can develop and submit permit applications and cost-effective mitigation plans necessary to proceed.

Environmental Phase I Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Investigate the potential for on-site contamination from existing practices or historical use, and to establish the compliance status of the operating business.  Performed consistent with ASTM E-1527-05 standard.

Phase II Site Investigations - On-site geological, geophysical, and hydro-geological testing to determine the relative extent and significance of containation to soil and groundwater.

Permiting and Reporting - Our engineers can develop information necessary for regulatory permit applications and annual reporting, developing treatment systems and modifying pollution control equipment; remediation project development, and oversight of contracted clean-up operations.

General Consulting & Outsourcing - Programs to provide professional assistance in meeting local, state, and federal environmental requirements, designed for middle-market companies that require immediate or supplemental environmental expertise.

Environmental Compliance Audits - Assess and track a facilities compliance with current local, State and Federal environmental regulations - identify a facility's compliance issues and present recommendations.

Endangered Species Assessments - on-site assessment for evidence of current or past use of property for nesting of one or more protected species.

Botany Studies - Biological evaluations are conducted to determine the presence of sensitive plant species and botanical resources and determine the potential of these resources being impacted by the proposed project.

Risk Assessments - Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) is based on the Federal Environmental Protection Act P.A. 89-431 also known as the Brownfield Legislation. The Brownfield program was initiated to establish a "risk-based" system of remediation, assure that the land use under consideration is factored into the remediation strategy. 

Underground Storage Tank (UST) Management - Keitu's comprehensive services in UST management includes preliminary facility reviews, tank removal and disposal services, regulation compliance evaluation, site investigation services, and clean-up and remediation of contaminated sites.

Transaction Screen Assessments (ESAs) - Site review suitable for situations where no prior commercial or industrial activities have occured.  Performed consistent with ASTM E-1528-06 industry standards.
