Technical Support & Regulatory Affairs

Agricultural, Chemical & Energy Engineering
Consulting activities are custom assignments to assist individual clients in a decision making process. We compile information, prepare conceptual studies and feasibility analyses. Analyze industry trends and forecast markets, which serves as a foundation for a client's specific problem. We already understand the background issues, standard industry practices, and are familiar with industry specific databases.
Agricultural Process Engineering

Food Processing

The rapid pace of today's American lifestyle have consumers opting for pre-prepared foods.  The global economy has prompted additional efforts to "add value" or our farm commodities prior to export via food processing.  From feasibility studies to final design, we offer assistance.

Nutrient Management

Extensive research by our land grant universities and others have brought science to the process of land management.  Nutrients from animal feeding operations must be managed and reclaimed to contribute to a cost effective operation.  Federal feedlot rules took effect in January 2003 and North Dakota rules take effect in mid-2004. Engineering and financial assistance for these new requirements are available.

BioMass Energy

From biomass conversion to heat and electricity to vegetable oil and grain conversion to motor fuels, steps are underway to integrate these items into the energy supply.  Keitu can optimize existing processes or assist in the development of new sources of supply. Continuing reduction in fuel sulfur level, now expanded to include off-road vehicles later this decade, will broaden the demand for high lubricity additives such as biodiesel.

Energy Engineering & Conversion
Our current needs are met with a combination of technologies, notably coal and oil. These production facilities require continuing technical support.  But development work and prototype projects continue on new technologies such as wind turbines and Keitu can provide assistance in preparing research grant applications and conducting field development studies.  Small or large scale, we welcome the opportunity for a role in your project.
Economic Development

Continued emphasis on economic development is required to attract those high paying technical based jobs which will retain our talented, educated citizens. Keitu can prepare conceptual studies to identify those projects with the highest probability of success

Providing engineering, environmental and technical support services in the states of
North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana.
